The EPI model requires the input of multiple advisors to maximize business value and personal financial wealth for the owner.  Our panel, composed of advisors focused on different areas of a successful transition, will discuss best practices, the challenges of collaboration and lessons learned.

For over 25 years, Oksana Komarnyckyj has guided businesses through every stage of their lives, from start-up to growth to exit, and has worked in the trenches as well as in the corporate boardroom.  Oksana brings a unique perspective to transitions having worked on them as both a corporate attorney and as a FINRA licensed Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor

Kurt Cretors

Kurt Cretors is the owner of Optimized Business Transitions, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SC Financial Services, Inc., a multi-Family Office / Wealth Management firm serving high net worth families since 2003.  Kurt received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, San Diego, and furthered his higher education with a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Arizona State University. As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), and Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) Kurt assists his clients in understanding the true value of their business as well as create strategic financial plans for the sale or purchase of a business. In equal importance, Kurt and his parent company provide planning for the owners and their families to create continuity and confidence around the transition.  Kurt has extensive experience in developing relationships with business owners and executives, helping them identify and achieve their business strategies and objectives. As a business owner himself, Kurt understands the needs and challenges facing our entrepreneurial clients. Active in the community, Kurt and his wife/business partner are members of Social Venture Partners as well as mentors to non-profit organizations.  Kurt enjoys travel and adventure with family and friends.

Alisha M. McClellan, CPA, CGMA

Alisha McClellan is a Principal in the Las Vegas office of CliftonLarsonAllen. Alisha has over fifteen years of experience in providing audit, taxation, consulting, and business valuation services to clients.  She has worked with clients in a multitude of industries including automobile dealerships, construction, manufacturing, real estate, retail, and professional services.   Over the years, Alisha has become increasingly involved in business transition planning for many clients.   She has experience on both sides of a business transition and has assisted clients with buy-side due diligence, management succession planning, and intra-family transfers.  Alisha is a published author, continuing professional education instructor, and has given several guest lectures at UNLV.  As a life-long resident of Las Vegas, Alisha is passionate about making her community a better place to live through her involvement with various organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club and Junior League. Alisha graduated Cum Laude from UNLV with Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Accounting.   She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Nevada.

Trevor S. Whiting

Trevor is an Arizona native who earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Arizona State University.  After completing his law degree at Seton Hall University School of Law in New Jersey, Trevor continued his schooling and obtained a Masters of Laws degree (LLM) in Taxation from New York University.  Prior to joining Quarles & Brady, Trevor worked in the New York City office of Deloitte Tax LLP, where he assisted corporate, partnership, and individual clients with complex tax transactions. When not buried in the tax code, Trevor is usually spending time with his wife and five daughters enjoying the great outdoors or cheering on the ASU Sun Devils, Arizona Cardinals, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Phoenix Suns.
