Jan is the CEO and Managing Partner of Legacy Planning Partners. Since starting his career in 1980, Jan has helped hundreds of business owners and successful professionals plan for and achieve their financial goals.

Experience:

In 1999, Jan founded Legacy Planning Partners, a fee-based financial planning firm that provides comprehensive financial advice and services to individuals, families and businesses. Jan’s strengths include his experience and his ability to perceive future obstacles and opportunities for business owners and professionals seeking to create financial transition plans. He believes that today’s complex world of financial services and financial advice takes someone with experience and wisdom to turn information into execution. Jan has built a team of financial advisors specializing in the various fields of income planning, tax planning, estate & investment planning. Working in collaboration with each client’s advisors, Jan uses a team approach to produce customized financial plans.

Education:

Jan graduated from Millersville University with a business degree in 1980 and has a Master’s of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) from The American College. He is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP), and holds the Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA), Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU) professional designations.
