Join Christopher Snider, creator of the Value Acceleration Methodology™, for an overview of the core concepts of value acceleration and a deeper dive into the four areas of intellectual capital that can exponentially increase a business’ brand value. Panel Discussion 1: Assessing and Identifying Owner Readiness
The starting point of Value Creation is to identify the current value of your business and your own readiness. This session will describe how business valuations are prepared and the different types of valuations depending on its purpose. Once the value is determined, it is critical to correlate that value to intangible value factors that exist within the business' and owner's lives. The correlation between the value of the business and how it scores on a financial and non-financial assessment is also explained during this session.
Panel Discussion 2: Protect, Build & Harvest Value
After the baseline value of the business is identified, the business owner enters the Prepare Stage where they will go through three major steps; 1) Protecting, 2) Building, and 3) Harvesting value. Step one is to Protect value by mitigating personal, financial, and businesses risks. Step two is to Build by prioritizing strategic actions to increase intangible capital and improve cash flow and your multiple. Step three is to Harvest the value by exploring your possibilities to extract the wealth trapped within your business. All topics will be discussed within this session.
Panel Discussion 3: Extract Value & Transaction Options
This session will provide the owner an overview of the various options available for a successful transition. It will focus on more than just a sale, but also give equal time to succession plans and how to increase value and decrease taxation, while creating a plan for life after business transition.
