EPI Leadership Awards for Members and Nonmembers
Each year the Exit Planning Institute recognizes and celebrates the achievements
and successes of our members. The EPI Awards are your opportunity to showcase achievements and
successes.
Please enter as many categories as you’d like, but do it soon!
This year’s awards winners will be announced and displayed at the Exit Planning Institute’s
2009 Annual Meeting & Exposition, November 11-14, 2009 in Chicago. |
Award Entry Guidelines
Have you recently completed a successful marketing program, concluded a
complex successful exit planning engagement, or authored an effective feature article? If so, celebrate your
success and the success of your peers by nominating a project to receive an EPI Leadership Award.
Send your best to EPI offices by 5:00 P.M., CST, on June 30, 2008, to get the
peer recognition you deserve. All exit planning professionals, both members and nonmembers, are eligible.
Your submissions must have been have been completed and distributed between January 1 and December 31, 2008 to
qualify.

Exit Planning Award Categories
Each of the 5 award categories have two winners; one from a small
organization or firm (annual sales less than or equal to $2 million) and one from a large organization
(annual sales greater than $2 million.) Don’t let your budget keep you from entering—innovation and
excellence comes in all sizes and price tags!
1. Featured Article on Exit Planning
Recognizes the best single-feature article appearing in an association publication. Entries are judged on
clarity, conciseness, and effectiveness in meeting the stated objective. Note: Articles appearing in the
Exit Planning Advisor are eligible too!
2. Original Peer-Reviewed Research
Recognizes the best scholarly or technical peer-reviewed research piece in the field of exit planning. Entries are
judged on effectiveness of content, completeness, and a documented criteria-based peer-review process.
3. Exit Planning Based Marketing Program
Recognizes the best exit planning based marketing program designed to increase general awareness of the importance
and need for exit planning. Entries are judged on content, effectiveness, writing, design/layout, and
photography/illustration, as well as results.
4. Exit Planning Engagement
Recognizes the best exit planning report or deliverable prepared for a client (completed and distributed in 2008).
Entries are judged on effectiveness of communicating client goals and objectives, content, writing,
analysis, recommendations, and design/layout.
5. Website
Recognizes the best exit planning related website (completed and posted in 2008). Entries are judged on effective
use of the medium, general impact, technical quality, content quality, ease of use, and creativity.
