April 2008 - Rich Jackim of the Exit Planning Institute, spoke to a group of business brokers at the California Business Brokers annual conference at a resort in San Diego, California.

March 2008 - Dennis Gano, CAE joins the Exit Planning Institute. He took the helm of the Insitutue as the new Executive Officer on March 3, 2008.

November 2007 - Rich Jackim, Executive Director of the Exit Planning Institute, spoke to a fun group of business owners at the National Oil Recycler's Association annual conference at the Porto Fino Resort in Orlando, Florida.

October 2007 - The Institute awarded the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) certification on twenty-one candidates after they completed a comprehensive study program, four days of in-person training, and a 4 hour written exam.
